LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION PATIOS

Bluestone, Flagstone and Paver Patios

Outdoor living spaces, like patios, are more popular than ever, whether functioning as an extension of our home’s interior or as its own stand-alone space. It’s estimated that a well-designed patio increases a home’s value from 8-10%, earning an ROI of over 80%. Patios not only provide additional living space, they offer a place for people to enjoy their yards, appreciate nature and destress (not to mention boost your vitamin D with a little sunshine!). Consider the following patio types we offer below – all of which are as strong as they are beautiful, ensuring your patio will look fabulous for decades.

Bluestone Patios

The timeless beauty of bluestone patios has made it a popular choice for years. Bluestone is a natural material quarried regionally (primarily in Western NJ, Pennsylvania and Eastern NY) so it looks beautiful with our native plants and trees and throughout our seasons. Bluestone is extremely durable, resistant to wear, temperature fluctuations and shifts in pressure. Bluestone can work with any style home and garden, including more formal landscapes.

Broken Flagstone Patios

Flagstone is a sedimentary rock usually made of sandstone bound together by minerals like silica, calcite, or iron ore. The stone can also be cut and shaped in a variety of ways, allowing for unique patterns. Its lighter colors (typically browns and golds along with greys and blues) can be an advantage in sunny spaces, absorbing less heat than darker stones or materials. Varied colors and shape make flagstone an excellent choice for a more natural/casual exterior landscape design.

Paver Patios

Design possibilities are endless with pavers – color, style, pattern structure – the sky’s the limit! Because pavers form a flexible pavement system, they are much stronger than concrete and resist cracking. If a paver becomes damaged, it’s easy to replace, ensuring your patio will always look great.
